Boston Properties Welcomes Robert A. Silpe To Their New York Region

NEW YORK, NY -- Boston Properties, Inc. announced today that Robert A. Silpe, 43, has joined their New York office as Senior Vice President - Development. Mr. Silpe will be responsible for the company's real estate development activities in the New York region.

Mr. Silpe's career in real estate, which spans more than 20 years, includes a successful track record in both acquisitions and development, most recently as an Executive Vice President at Milstein Brothers Capital Partners. Previously, Mr. Silpe was a Senior Vice President at the Related Companies where he was responsible for residential and mixed-use development in the New York and Washington DC Metropolitan areas. Prior to Related, Mr. Silpe was a Managing Director with Tishman Speyer Properties where his responsibilities included acquisitions and development in the New York Metropolitan area as well as throughout the United States and Europe. He received a BA from Tufts University in 1985 and an MBA from New York University in 1990. Mr. Silpe is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York and sits on REBNY's Zoning and Design Committee.
