On October 21, 2009, Richard E. Salomon informed Boston Properties, Inc. (the Company), the general partner of Boston Properties Limited Partnership, that he will not stand for re-election to the Companys Board of Directors upon the conclusion of his term at the 2010 annual meeting of stockholders in order to devote more time to his other business interests. Mr. Salomon has confirmed that his decision was not due to a disagreement with the Company on any matter relating to the Companys operations, policies or practices.
