BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 21, 2009--
Boston Properties, Inc. (NYSE: BXP), a real estate investment
trust, announced that this morning at approximately 10:30 am the
Prudential Tower experienced a water line break on the second floor.
This caused loss of air conditioning and elevator service in the Tower,

Limited elevator service was restored to assist in the evacuation. The
Prudential Tower was the only area that was impacted. All other areas of
the Prudential Center, including the parking garage, remain open and
operational. Clean-up is underway and the Company expects the Prudential
Tower to be operational shortly.
