Boston Properties, Inc. (NYSE: BXP), the largest publicly traded developer, owner, and manager of Class A office properties in the United States, today announced that the Company was named to Newsweek’s America’s Most Responsible Companies 2022 list. BXP ranked first in its industry with an increased ranking of 31st overall out of the 500 companies included on this year’s list.

Newsweek’s program recognizes the most responsible U.S. companies spanning 14 industries based on a four-phase process considering Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors. The analysis was carried out by Statista Inc. with a pool of 2,000 companies that were screened based on specific criteria. The detailed analysis consisted of an independent survey among 11,000 U.S. citizens and research based on publicly available key performance indicators derived from Corporate Annual Reports, CSR Reports, Sustainability Reports, and Corporate Citizenship Reports.
